Also in Italy children choirs, in schools and not, are not rara avis any more, happy but casual event, undaunted brooms that blossom in the desert despite adversity. When the music skill and the didactic of one choral conductors meets the attention of the school institution and the work of one choral association – and this is more and more frequent, results are ready to come. By now there is a network of choirs and events that have entered steadily in the national choral world.

We think that Feniarco has some merits for this rebirth. For many years the national association of Italian choral world aims a lot of his activity to children and youth choirs: the Festival di Primavera on one hand, the publishing of Giro Giro Canto on the other hand can testify this commitment.

When choirs grow, they need also music: music fitted for young singers, modelled after their possibilities, commensurate to their music experiences.
Giro Giro Canto success is higher that what we expected: we can see it everytime we hear some of the pieces of the first volume (published in 2002) during concerts and competitions.

This third volume contains eighteen unpublished compositions that the Artistic Commission chose among those sent to Feniarco. The pieces are influenced by simple music forms that the young interpreters can easily understand. Songs with one or maximum two voices and canons are privileged because even the less expert choirs can easily realize them.

The volume has also one CD with all the pieces recorded and excellently performed by the choir I Piccoli Musici, conductor: Mario Mora.
